The idea of getting hot and cold water from the respective taps hold good only when the geyser is on.

Considering that the geyser is not essentially in the bathroom (or the geyser light of malfunctioning when on), the user gets no evidence if the hot water tap would actually run hot water or not as there isn’t any indication or assistance in the form of visual clue. (more)
