The Roots Of Banyan Tree

Here is a picture of a very old banyan tree, I clicked it when I was travelling to Nasik and this scenario of tree caught my eye
the roots of the tree have grown so long that is disturbs the people travelling though motorbikes and scooters. As you can see on the right hand side of the picture near divider the roots have grown till the ground. These things can cause extreme damage to people who travel by two-wheeler and can cause serious injuries. Hence it an immediate need that road authorities should plan roads keeping in mind these constraints.
