UMO 2011 Volunteer Opportunities

UMO’11 Volunteer Opportunities

The theme for the event is "Design Education for Social Change

The success of event relies on professionals like you, getting involved and volunteering your time and talent. There are many opportunities for you to get involved, contribute, inspire and get inspired - before event day, and during the events. Please register as a volunteer and let us know your interests and skills so that we can ensure a great UMO’2011 experience!

We invite the Designers - professional or student to participate in the events in per-son, that is being an onsite volunteer at Hyderabad, or as a remote volunteer, that is helping with content and deliverables by remote collaboration.

UMO has been a pioneer in organising various events centered around World Usability Day and in raising Design awareness in India, starting with the Hyderabad Chapter in 2005. Since then, various events have been organised regularly with active community participation. The volunteers in the past event included the professionals as well as students from various disciplines like Technology, Engineering, Design, Management, Architecture, and Visual Arts domains from all over the world, and they contributed both before and during the event, being in Hyderabad or helping online from their remote locations. You can always have an insight into the past events, event reports, volunteers and about UMO and its events from our website at www.usabilitymatters.org

We thank you in advance for your help and look forward to working with you over the next couple of months. Be a part of the UMO’2011 and World Usability Day 2011 Team. Your ideas and suggestions are welcome.
