UX Hyderabad Meet
As an indication to the increasing awareness in the User Experience area, we had a larger participation from the various companies this time. The 70+ participants in the event included research scholars, professors, visual designers, usability professionals, application developers, e-Learning architects, senior faculties, heads of departments and managers.
- Mr. Jeremy Ashley, Vice-President-UX Oracle, opened the event with an overview of Oracle’s application user experience processes.
- Mr. Santosh Kumar Korthiwada, Senior Lead, Creative Services, Convergys, walked the audience through the design processes followed at Convergys Learning Solutions.
- Mr. Kaladhar Bapu, Manager, UX, Cordys, carried forward the discussion with a scenario based presentation on designing applications with specific users in context. Bapu’s presentation hit at the nagging problems the User Experience professional face in implementation.
- Mr. Muthu Kumar, UX Analyst, Kanbay concluded the event with a moderated discussion on how to convince clients from UX perspective. The discussion helped bring several real-time UX issues to the fore.
