Scanner with Photo-Negative Scanning Facility
Sumiran Pandya, NID, India
When ever scanning a page the scanner will add a shadow or water mark effect to the scanned image.
Looks wise this scanner is perfect but main function of the scanner is to scan as it is the source. But in this design the scanned image gets a shadow or a watermark effect. It happens because in this design there is a negative holder on the flap, which also becomes the part of the image to be scanned.
Thus one always requires a white paper or any other sheet to cover it before pressing the scan button. As a negative scanner is not used much, people find it easy to stick a paper over the negative scanner.
To solve this problem one can have a cover which can rotate or can be detached when not required.
