How to figure out a Dead Battery and a Working One?

B.Kishore Kumar, Hyderabad, India

‘Hit and try’ or better call it ‘put and try’! If one forgets to throw away dead batteries right at the first time, then they are sure to be thrown out the next time.

It also happens with gas cylinders which by no chance tell their status. One has to lift a cylinder, move it here and there, put it on once again and then there will be a small flame. This flame will slowly go down and then all one can think is “which is the cheapest restaurant nearby that serves good food?”

There should be a medium to indicate the status of any opaque/ solid container.
