Major detail missed while designing

A triathlon watch is used to check the count of laps in air or under water.But in the case when under water the watch is water proof only when one does not push or pull any timer buttons.

This is a major detail missed while designing as one requires to count the laps under water too and hence needs to operate the buttons.
