A zebra crossing is for the pedestrians on the road not for
the vehicles.
If the crossing is occupied by the vehicles then the pedestrians face a problem in crossing the road. The crossing can be made more interactive so that it can be useful for the pedestrians and the driver is compelled to stop at the crossing.
