Road at Residential Area
Jayatheja, Hyderabad
This is a road near my residence. In my view it is considered as a bad design because:
1.the banking angle is not proper. if rainfall occurs the water gets stagnant . the angle should be such that water on the road does not be stagnant.
2.as it is a residential area ,a sign boards and safety barriers should placed for the covinience of civilians.
3. using poor quality materials like concrete : cement ratio is not proper.the bonding between the cementing materials is not good.

4.the soil here is pasty red soil where on which laying the tar roads on that is not advisable.cc(cement concrete) road is more covinient for the residential areas.
5.thus following the i.s. codes suggested by indian standards institute will result in better life standards.
