Until and unless you open the fridge you would not know its freezing point.

The above picture the button for temperature adjustment is located on the door and does not provide the exact temperature count of the fridge. Having no idea what temperature it is inside, to be on safer side, user tries setting the temperature lower than what it needs to be, which cause more consumption of energy.
