Bike without a Kick-Rod

Considering the Yamaha-FZ bike, it is provided with a well powered electric auto start which gives comfort to the rider about not having to start the engine with a kick-rod.
Bad Designs
Well the main disadvantage is that there is no kick-rod at all. Situations may arise when the electric auto start may fail due to some mechanical or battery failures. Then there is no other alternative way of starting it.
